Another one of our regular workweek lunch stops. Their service and food are unsurpassed, as they understand that the college and worker lunch crowds usually don't have a lot of time, and we don't settle for bland, so-so food. Everything here is delicious; appetizers, Teriyaki plates & bowls (chicken, beef, pork, & veggie), sushi rolls, Yakisoba bowl (chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, & veggie), tempura, and Udon. Indoor seating is available, but it can fill up fast. Parking can also be tight at times. I highly recommend you give them a try when in the area. REMINDER, they're not open on weekends.

We just love Jinza Teriyaki. The owner and workers are super chill and nice, good vibes all around. The food is tried and true. The chicken teriyaki is hands down our favorite. We made one meal a combo and got mixed tempura. The beef is okay; I'd rather get a double order of the chicken. The plates come with lettuce salad and pickled cabbage. Also comes with sauce, but for me personally the food was flavorful enough. There's a little table where you can help yourself to teriyaki sauce and Sriracha. Convenient, great food, good service. No complaints here.

My coworkers and I used to come here at least once a week, sometimes more, for the breakfast burritos. Yes, breakfast burritos at a teriyaki place. Some of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had, that white sauce and the fresh pico just hit. Unfortunately, they moved their opening time from 7 to 9, so we can't go anymore as it is too late for our meal break at that point. I believe the new breakfast hours are 9-11 AM, so if you can make that window and don't want to resort to McDonald's like I have to now, definitely try out the breakfast items.

Jinza Teriyaki is an absolute gem for anyone craving flavorful, high-quality food. At Cal Poly nearly everyone knows about this place. The beef rice plate is unbelievably good--tender, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor--and the white sauce is a game-changer you can't skip! The service is fast and friendly, making sure you have everything you need, including their tasty add-ons that elevate the meal even more. The place is welcoming which makes it a great spot to enjoy. The only downside is their limited hours--such amazing food deserves to be available all day!

This place is literally walking distance from my work. Been there now 3x times and each time food is great. Wish they added more meat but overall great food. Haven't tried that white sauce yet and each visit I've just gotten the bowls which always hit! Might switch it up next visit. Overall great spot for lunch and your bowl fix.

Jinza is probably one of the top 10 teriyaki spots in SGV. The sauce paired with chicken is by far one of the best you will taste. After coming here for years, the menu has expanded but the quality has stayed the same. From the looks of the outside and the almost hidden location, you probably would not expect this to be so good. But it is. The folks who come back here know it, and they keep coming back. Totally worth the try!

Used to come here a lot when I worked in the area. Haven't been in about 10+ years and they must be doing something right to still be around after all this time. Not much has changed except the expanded dining area and they have a bunch of drinks available now by the cashier. Looks like they have expanded the menu quite a bit also. Came in on a Thursday around 1:30 and they were still extremely busy. Long line, but the food still came out pretty quickly. Got the chicken and beef plate and it was just like I remembered. Saw a lot of people ordering tacos and I didn't see it on the menu. Asked the man at the counter and he said it's a Thursday special. I think I'll stop by next Thursday and give it a shot. Good taste on the proteins, decent portion size, and friendly staff. I will be back for sure.
